The Finns and Russians have been doing wondrous things for the twenty-first century psychedelic music scene. These form a regional trance subculture notorious for pouring their characteristically energetic style into their music. "Portinfarttijan Hyppypiertari" by Shiwa 2000 is the quintessential illustration of this blooming movement. A combination of audio magus Rick Timebees and Tim Thick , these two Finns represent decades of musical know-how and expertise. This latest album is the culmination of a trilogy of project releases, and with artists like this behind the controls, one can expect nothing less than the best; Crisp, crystal clear production and engineering, arrangement masterworks of dynamic contrast, and a sound style as much a deviation from as a forger of a blossoming genre of music. "Shiwa 2000" has been described as the glue that binds together a musical saga. What an amalgam it is, as well. Fifteen tracks chock full of groove show off the versatility of its makers to the finest degree. Borrowing from and expounding on oodles of theory and style, the groove never stops and never grows static. Soundscapes which seem to go completely bonkers never spill a drop of their dancefloor readiness, sticking you into scene upon scene of dust-kicking fervor. These innovators have done their job admirably, for it is truly hard to put a label on this album, or what the Shiwa 2000 sound has evolved into. It can aptly be described as a completely new kind of animal, and a highly recommended must-listen. Another edition of IONO's Private Room Sessions. This time
presented by the serbian artist "Float" which is an electronic music
project created by Vladimir Mihajlovic since 2008.
Over the years Vladimir has created his own unique style, made for
enjoying and relaxation but also dancefloor oriented. On his markable
debut album "Liquid" you will find deep basslines, constantly shifting
abstract sfx, spiced with digitally modulated leads and glitches, melted
into spacey pads and chilling dubby chords. Float merges techno,
trance, house, dub, ambient and minimalistic influences into
unique electronic fusion.Anyhow, none of his tracks can be classified into one genre, it is

Last Men Standing and Spun Records proudly present a landmark achievement in fusion psychedelic electo techno trance. LMS are Nyimo Nijman and Levin Karcher a dynamic duo who have skyrocketed to fame, fortune!Nyimo Nijman who is known for his activity as Last Men Standing, also known as Magnasonic, was born 1987 in Amsterdam, Holland. He grew up with piano lessons and school music classes. His mother knew Riktam's mother and his older brother knew Shanti and Riktam. Thus, Nyimo fell into the laps of the growling mad juveniles. Then he started visiting Ibiza every summer. Back and forth until he was seven. After which he continued going to school in Ibiza with his partner in crime Levin. It was there that he began Dj'ing with only 12 at the one of the most famous club, the Blue Rose. Since then he has been playing in clubs and parties around the Island. His great inspirations are the original crusaders GMS, Shanti, Buschman, Poli, Wrecked Machines.

The CD features 2 tracks from Synchronicity 'soon to be classic' 'The Crack Spider' and urgently pumping extruded plasma-fest 'Brain Wires'. Centauro and Monkee team up for more pacey mutation in the form of 'Cow Bell' and Module Virus gives us his shuddering pacey groover 'Spliff Politics' leaving Experimental Sound Project's luscious dub workout 'Chacruna Dub' to round things off nicely.The CD also contains a data section with extra flash content and PDFs of several issues of Dream Creation magazine including the current one which contains profiles of all the artists featured on the CD.
