Sun Station Records is proud to present you a debut release by Astroff, a
brand new project from no one else but Sergey Prilepa known worldwide as
Fungus Funk. Sergey is one of the pioneers of Russian night psychedelic sound
and during the last decade he travelled round the planet to drop his bouncing
acidic sounds to the most important party locations. In the last couple of
years Sergey decided to push Fungus Funk sound to a more full on direction and
as not to disappoint his older fans he started 'Astroff' to continue

luminosity of our Sun,Rigel is the brightest star in our local region
of the Milky Way and the eponym of Greek psy-prodigy Vasili. In his
early teen years Rigel experimented with electronic kits, constructing
flip-flop circuits,lfos, etc. Once he got his hands on fast tracker and
his first soundcard,the avid juggler Rigel quickly moved to juggling
audio in the computer.Focusing on soft modular synth tweakage, he began
producing in various styles of electronic music. With a vast variety of
musical influences - from techno & trance to jazz & funk, from
chill to dnb - he funneled his character into a charismatic and eclectic
psychelectronica sizzling with freshness. During the following years,
he attended multimedia studies,won computer music competitions and made
himself a solid name playing live and as dj in various clubs and on open
air festivals, as well as with writing and producing for tv and radio
commercials, theater plays, circus shows, remixes and more. Since then
Rigel has evolved to a full fledged powerhouse and legitimate bearer of
his monicker.

Anix Gleo (Alexander Liventsov) explores
the roots of creativity with Stupid Me And My Smart Computer, a dazzling
new release from the Russian label Sun Station Records. The unique
style of this release demonstrates a wide range of influences from
across the psytrance spectrum. Although the sound is arguably rooted in
the darker side of full-on, these songs feel very brash and
experimental. The title is elaborated on in a short work of prose
accompanying the release: I dont know, really, who did more for this
music me or my computer? If my computer breaks down I will remain
without music. If I ‘break down’ the music will live and others will
easily able to [experience it]. [...] Whose tastes am I following: mine
or my computers? Thank you, my friend. All tracks written and produced
by Alexander Liventsov. Mastered by Digital Twist. Illustrations by
Manush Mkrtchyan.
