Marco Teixeira is the guy behind the
Elektrik Boy Psytrance project. He soon felt a "strange" affection for
this style,not only because of it's sounds but also for the the math
represented in music. By the age of sixteen he and a friend founded his
first band, Crossover. After that he played in several gigs and joined
some other bands, as rythm/lead guitar and bass.Later on, when the first
PCs started to appear, he bought his first computer, a 486 processor,
and began playing with some midi sequencer programs. He decided it was
time to start something new, so he founded the DiF_Fusion project and
plummet into the world of electronic music. Soon he made his first
track, a drum'n'bass song featuring live guitar, which was reviewed with
success by the well known Future Music Magazine. This motivated him so
he start working on more songs. 2002 was the year for the DiF_Fusion
project. He released his first CD under Vensil Records, a portuguese
label. After a few connections he started playing live. The project
included a bassist, a saxophonist, occasionally a drummer and himself on
the guitars and synths, and they performed in some events across the
country.Finally, in 2005, he decided he wanted to produce psychedelic
trance too, combining of course his skills as a guitar player. And this
lead to Elektrik Boy project. He started DJing and playing in several
parties, but only by 2007 he started to produce his own music. After
that, he has played some live acts and dj sets in many parties all over
Portugal. 2010 was the big "boom" for the Elektrik Boy project. In
june, the first EP by this project was released (...Far Beyond
Limits...), under the Multiverse Records label.Enjoy this new project,
its profusion of throbbing beats, elektrifying twists and turns,
melodies, guitars and rhythm, and some PHAT BASS of course!

Release Notes:
Born in 1977, Yan grew up in a small village in Ticino, this achieved the
development of the energy he puts in his music. Familiarized with techno
music in the mid 90's he started as a DJ in small Acidcore, Hardcore and
Trance parties, including the legendary 2003 edition of "Castle of Mesocco".
Here he met an Italian friend who asked him to play in Firenze, where he was
finally introduced to the magical world of synths. He immediately developed
a passion towards electronic music devices especially towards analog synths,
which allowed him to produce pure Psychedelic music. He then decided to
create some serious Psychedelic Trance and it's from those vibes
Astral Gnomix is born.
Astral Gnomix does not play common-style music, he has his own groove,
born from a mixture of various electronic genres and goa, ranging from
old-style to modern, inspired by acts like Hallucinogen, Oziric Tentacles,
Cosmosis, Pink Floyd and more...
He presents a new style at each Live Act, and often brings along many of
his original instruments, making each act impressingly particular.
Now he spends as much time as possible playing his instruments and
composing new groovy stuff. Astral Gnomix is certainly not a common artist
he loves psychedelic tunes, and does not follow the common wave...
For him psychedelia has no limits...

Yohei Matsuzaki, the artist behind the project PURE PRESSURE. He was
born in 1979 in Chiba, Japan. After coming across his first psychedelic
experience in Budapest Hungary in 2001, he moved to San Francisco
California and started producing his own blend of full on morning
psytrance. He has played in countless parties in Japan and USA including
the famous burning man festival. His first release was with San
Fransisco based label Vaporvent, a collaboration with Mekkanikka called
Wherehouse Memories. Since then he has continued to develop his own
distinct style. In 2004, he moved back to Japan where he started his
live project as PURE PRESSURE and became active in the Japanese
Psy-trance scene. Around 2005 he worked with a major Japanese record
labels and released a joint album called Ga Shin Shou Tan with Theoreme
from King Records in 2007, plus another compilation album called Killer
Trance (which he worked as director for this project) on Dreamusic Japan
in 2008. In the end of that year, Yohei joined Nutek Records and left
for a European tour . There, he has numerous collaborations with CPU,
Painkiller, Mekkanikka, MadMaxx, XSI, Madnetic. In 2009, the release of
his first track wtih Painkiller from Nutek Records, and anoher
collaboration track (Spread Your Wings remix) with DJ Rew from Farm
Records in Japan was a global success. Late 2009, he started toget ready
and concentrated on his 1st album, and in 2010 he finally came up with
his debut album called PRESSURIZED. The groovy energy of his music can
be described as a synthesis of two opposing forces- organic, crystal
clear synth lines combined with the mechanical, tech-inspired kick, bass
and drums. When the music starts and these forces weave into each
other, the result is PURE PRESSURE. Look out for his sets at upcoming
festivals and parties near you!
